Jason Bruges’ Mimosa, a dazzling piece of art that uses Lumiblade OLEDs. He was commissioned by Philips to develop an interactive light installation for the 2010 Milan furniture fair.
According to Bruges, "The piece was inspired by the Mimosa family of plants, which change kinetically to suit their environmental conditions."
Beautiful. It reminds me of the installations "You Fade To Light" (also with Lumiblade OLEDs) and "Audience" by rAndom International.
The light panels open and close like flowers.
