Dior. The Lady Noir Affaire
After the Chanel N°5 "Train de Nuit" with Audrey Tautou, Dior presents the new six-minute film "The Lady Noir Affaire" with French actress Marion Cotillard & film director Olivier Dahan ("La vie en rose"). He directed this little film, which is supposed to animate the Peter Lindbergh campaign for the Lady Dior handbag.
Print campaign:

Basically the film should give the answer to the one big question: what on earth made the poor girl climb up the Eiffel Tower in those heels?
Trailer:
Marion Cotillard plays the lead in the thriller, unpacking her handbag for what feels like hours to show us the latest bijou from Dior. The idea behind the campaign is to turn Dior back into an iconic brand, with products that have a true iconic status. Cotillard wears a sexy black number by John Galliano from the spring collection. On the mini film Galliano commented:
“We wanted to capture the glamour, the intrigue, the heroine and the mysterious allure that radiates around her, Marion has brought the Dior woman to life. She is incredible.”
The six-minute film:
It is a really well done movie though and, despite the handbag scene, rather entertaining. I like as well the end. Instead of giving answers to some questions, it even arouses more.
Further details about her next adventure, and what precious cargo she’s carrying, are to be revealed on a forthcoming Web site: LadyDior.com, which is set to go live in mid-November.
