This new BMW concept car will be powered by a set of electric motors and a turbodiesel engine. It will produce a total 356 hp – enough to push this beast to 62mph in 4.8 seconds.
With the unveiling of the Vision EfficientDynamics at this year's Frankfurt motor show on September 15th, new design boss Adrian von Hooydonk is heralding a new direction in BMW design, described as "layered surfacing".
It involves layering one surface on top of another to improve aerodynamic efficiency and to achieve a more cohesive and harmonious appearance.
The new TRON-style look was devised for a minimal drag coefficient and a maximum wow factor.
